iGB Annual Ski Day, Monday January 12 - the Snow Gods were good to us

We had our 2nd annual iGetBetter Ski Day this past Monday.  It was held at Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.  Participating were not only iGB team members and contractors with family and friends, but also partners, hospital clients and investors.

The snow conditions were extremely good, with a light snow falling throughout the day.  We split into several groups of similar abilities guided by Loon ski instructors, and were well taken care of by the Loon customer service and food & beverage staff, with our private meeting and dining area in Babe's Bar on the second floor of the Governor's Lodge.

Not only was the snow great, there were very few other skiers on the mountain - we felt like we had it all to ourselves.  Very unlike weekend skiing.  It was, in the words of several people, the best ski day they had ever had.  It was also an unusual opportunity for all the members and stakeholders of iGetBetter's ecosystem to get to know each other and make connections.

And for me, it was especially fun.   Not only was it satisfying as the CEO to get everyone together for such a positive and healthy outdoor activity, but also as a long time part-time Loon ski instructor I got to be one of the ski school guides - I was actually paid by Loon to participate!  (At the astonishing ski instructor rate of $11.34/hour.)

Below is a photo of some of the group.  We are all already looking forward to next year's event.  With our recent early success and impending growth in the number of team members, partners, investors and clients, we are expecting next year's group to be significantly larger.

And maybe the ski school will give me a raise.
