Brockton Hospital Expands Use of iGB With New COPD Progam

Brockton Hospital in Massachusetts, which has had great success using iGetBetter as part of its Homeward Bound program for reducing unnecessary readmissions of CHF and Hypertension patients, has begun a similar program in its Pulmonology department with COPD patients.  Today we trained the Pulmonology clinical staff on the use of the iGetBetter system, and patient enrollments will begin next Tuesday, Sept. 15.  This will be the first use of the iGetBetter system using a COPD care plan.

The iGetBetter system is now being used with patients for six different conditions:  Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy (HCM), Hypertension, Diabetes, Total Knee Replacement (TKR), and now COPD.
