March 20, 2019 Software Update Release features new native iOS app with support for the Apple Watch

Today we deployed to our cloud servers a software update release. This update release goes hand-in-hand with our new native iOS app which runs on iPhones and iPads.

The iGetBetter iOS app can be downloaded free of charge from the Apple AppStore. Once downloaded, patients can use the same login credentials that are used with the existing browser-based application and access the same application functionality. It includes support for the Apple Watch, which can now be used as a source of health and activity data similarly as devices we already support, such as those from Fitbit and Garmin. The new iGetBetter app is also fully integrated with the Apple Health app for even broader access to health and activity data collected by Apple Health.

In addition to general improvements and minor bug fixes, this update release also introduces an Automatic Body and Activity Monitoring plan that allows for the seamless tracking of certain wellness and lifestyle related physiological and activity parameters. This plan looks for Steps, Distance, Total Sleep, Total Calories burned, Calories burned through activity, Base metabolic rate, Calorie Intake, Weight and  Activity Minutes/Fitness Activity. This new feature is in support of our iGetBetter Wellness initiative.
